Aircraft / Airbus A321neo
A member of the 2nd generation Airbus A320neo family, the Airbus A321neo is a six-abreast, narrow-body, medium range twin-engine jet airliner produced by Airbus SE, a European multinational aerospace manufacturer headquartered at Blagnac (Toulouse), France.
The AirA321neo is available by default as a passe aircraft. There are presently three variants of the A321neo:
The base Airbus A321neo “standard” edition with 3500 nm range, introduced in May 2017;
The Airbus A321LR “long range” edition with an extended 4000 nm range, introduced in November 2018; and
The Airbus A321XLR “extra long range” edition with an even greater 4700 nm range, introduced in October 2024.
Presently there are no direct factory-built cargo versions of the A321neo. However, freighter conversion programs will likely be established for the A321neo series as the A320neo product line matures, similar to the Airbus A321P2F and Airbus A321F conversion programs that have been developed for the previous generation Airbus A321ceo series of aircraft.
