Aircraft / Airbus A321neo
A member of the 2nd generation Airbus A320neo family, the Airbus A321neo is a six-abreast, narrow-body, medium range twin-engine jet airliner produced by Airbus SE, a European multinational aerospace manufacturer headquartered at Blagnac (Toulouse), France.
The Airbus A321neo is available by default as a passenger aircraft. There are presently two variants of the A321neo: 1) the A321neo “standard” edition, and 2) the A321LR “long range” edition. A 3rd A321neo variant, the Airbus A321XLR, is currently in the final phase of certification, with service introduction expected in late 2024.
Presently there is no direct from the factory cargo version of the A321neo. However, freighter conversion programs are likely to be established for the A321neo as the product line matures, similar to the Airbus A321P2F and Airbus A321F conversion programs developed for the previous generation Airbus A320ceo family.
