The Beechcraft Super King Air family is part of a line of low wing twin-engine turboprop aircraft produced by Beechcraft, a brand name owned by Textron Aviation, a Wichita, Kansas USA-based general aviation business subsidiary of the conglomerate Textron. The Model 200/250 and Model 300 series were originally marketed as the "Super King Air" family, but the "Super" designation was dropped after 1996. The Model 200/250/300 types form the King Air line together with the smaller King Air Model 90 and 100 series.

The Super King Air family has been in ongoing production since 1974. They are available in passenger or cargo versions, as well as in various special special mission operations such as aerial survey, air ambulance, flight inspection and surveillance.
