A member of the legendary Boeing 747 family, the Boeing 747-200 is a large, wide-body, long range four-engine jet airliner manufactured by Boeing Commercial Airplanes, a division of The Boeing Company. Boeing Commercial Airplanes is headquartered in Renton, Washington USA, while the parent company’s head office is located in Arlington, Virginia USA.

The Boeing 747-200 was produced in four different variants - including the basic passenger Boeing 747-200B, the passenger to freight (P2F) convertible Boeing 747-200C, the freighter Boeing 747-200F, and the quick change combi Boeing 747-200M. Production of the 747-200 in 1991 with 393 examples built. While the 747-200 is still available in passenger versions, most remaining specimens of the type are now operating as either cargo or converted freighter versions.
