One of three variations of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner family, the Boeing 787-9 is a wide-body, long range twin-engine jet airliner manufactured by Boeing Commercial Airplanes, a division of The Boeing Company. Boeing Commercial Airplanes is headquartered in Renton, Washington USA, while the parent company’s head office is located in Arlington, Virginia USA.

The 787-9 is currently available only in a passenger configuration. Boeing reported plans for a future 787F freighter.
