The Britten-Norman BN-2 Islander is a twin engine British light utility aircraft and regional airliner designed and manufactured by Britten-Norman Aerospace, a privately owned British aircraft manufacturer and aviation services provider located at Bembridge, Isle of Wight, United Kingdom.

The Islander has been in near-continuous production since 1965, with over 1280 units built to date, around 500 of which were built in Romania. Production continues today at Bembridge, on the Isle of Wight in the UK. The aircraft has been built in over two dozen variants over time, as well as in a subtype known as the Britten-Norman BN-2A-III Trislander a stretched BN-2A with 18 seats and three Lycoming O-540-E4C5 piston engines instead of two as found on other BN-2 variants.
