The Cessna 208 Caravan is a high-wing single-engine turboprop utility aircraft produced by Cessna, a brand name owned by Textron Aviation, a Wichita, Kansas USA-based general aviation business subsidiary of the conglomerate Textron.

Introduced in 1984, the Cessna 208 is still in production. In addition to the standard 208 Caravan model, it is also available in three other variants: 1) the heavier duty 208B Grand Caravan EX, 2) the 208 Caravan Amphibian floatplane, and 3) the Grand Caravan EX Amphibian heavy duty floatplane. All models are available in either passenger or cargo (208 Cargomaster) configurations. Military variants of the Cessna 208 are also produced.
