The Tupolev Tu-204 is a twin-engined, medium-range, narrow-body airliner designed manufactured by Tupolev, a Russian state-owned aerospace manufacturer headquartered in Basmanny District, Moscow, Russian Federation. Introduced in 1996, the Tu-204 is intended to serve as a competitor to the Boeing 757.

The type is still in production and available in either passenger or cargo configurations. Most of its current operators are based in Russia, North Korea, China, and Cuba.
