A member of the 2nd generation Airbus A320neo family, the Airbus A319neo is a six-abreast, narrow-body, medium range twin-engine jet airliner produced by Airbus SE, a European multinational aerospace manufacturer headquartered at Blagnac (Toulouse), France.

A shortened fuselage variant of the Airbus A320neo, the Airbus A319neo entered production in 2019. It is a one-on-one replacement for the prior generation Airbus A319-100 airliner; it also serves as the successor variant for the Airbus A318, an even shorter fuselage model that did not itself receive a NEO (new engine option) refresh due to low sales. The A319neo is available in a choice one of two powerplants, namely the CFM International LEAP-1A or the Pratt & Whitney PW1100G.

Interest in the A319neo has been very anemic. Customers have placed only 57 orders for the aircraft since its entry into service in 2019. In contrast, the prior generation Airbus A319-100 model sold 1484 units during its production lifecycle ending in 2021. At the same time, the Airbus A220, a very comparable sibling aircraft acquired by Airbus from Bombardier Aviation back in 2018, has in turn seen very healthy demand: As of early 2025, the A220 had nearly 400 aircraft deliveries with more than 500 units showing in its backlog queue. Despite its weak sales, Airbus has confirmed it will continue offering the A319neo for the foreseeable future.

The Airbus A319neo is offered by default as a passenger aircraft. The A319neo is available for special missions roles such as maritime patrol, military observation, firefighting and as a business jet. It is not available from the factory as a freighter, and there are no plans afoot for a factory-built cargo version or aftermarket A319-based P2F (passenger to freighter) conversion program.
