Aircraft / Airbus A340-300
The Airbus A340-300 is a long-range, wide-body twin-engine jet airliner developed and produced by Airbus SE, a European multinational aerospace manufacturer headquartered at Blagnac (Toulouse), France. It is one of four variants of the type, the others being the Airbus A340-200, Airbus A340-500, and Airbus A340-600.
The most popular of the A340 variants, production of the A340-300 ended in 2008 after 218 examples were built, with the newer generation Airbus A350 replacing it. During its original production life cycle, the Airbus A340-300 was available only as a passenger aircraft, but after-market P2F (passenger to freighter) conversion programs for the A340-300 are now available.
