A JStream Exclusive Original Concept Aircraft

The Aria S102 Supersonic is a narrow-body, medium range twin-engine supersonic jet airliner produced by Aria Aircraft Company, a commercial aircraft manufacturer headquartered in Denver, Colorado USA, and Dublin, Ireland.

The S102 was developed as a supersonic variant of the Aria T102 Transonic airliner. The S102 derivative was designed to service long distance routes where it might be difficult to fill the company’s larger capacity supersonic jets, the Aria S152 Supersonic and Aria S242 Supersonic. Launched in 2018, the Aria S102 entered revenue service in September 2023.

While its smaller sibling, the Aria S42 Supersonic, has had more orders as a business jet than as an airliner, the S102 has seen a fair share of orders from mainline and boutique carriers worldwide. In particular, several airlines servicing island countries or regions that are a significant distance from continental landmasses have taken to the S102, using them as an effective means to quickly carry passengers along routes to or from major airport hubs and/or prestigious destinations.

The Aria S102 is currently available in a passenger airliner or business jet configuration, with the latter marketed as the Aria S102b Supersonic Bizjet. The manufacturer also plans to introduce a quick-change combi configuration at a future date.
